How can I create a web-ready file with hyperlinks?

I need to create a web-ready PDF just one time

  1. Open Adobe InDesign

  2. File > Export. Save as type: “Adobe PDF (Interactive)”. Click Save.

  3. A dialogue box will appear containing a choice of PDF export options. The main thing you must pay attention to is whether you set the Export for Pages or Spreads.
Image Compression is already set to 72 ppi.

  4. Click Export.

I need to create a web-ready PDF several times.

If you need to create a web-ready file more than once, you’ll need to create anAdobe PDF preset (.joboptions). This is an ensemble of characteristics that impacts the creation of your document. These settings can help you to prepare your document for printing, for the web, and can affect its size. For further information on this subject, please check the Adobe Website.

Using Pagination, there are different solutions for implementing your preset:
  1. Download one of our Adobe PDF Presets.
    - Web (72 ppi images)
    - Web HD (300 ppi image)
Choose the one that fits your need and upload it in the Joboptions folder of your cloud.

  2. Create a custom Adobe PDF Preset on your own and upload it to the Joboptions folder inside the cloud. If you don’t see this folder, write to us at support@pagination.com.

  3. Create a custom Adobe PDF Preset on your own and ask us to implement it. Send your Joboptions file to support@pagination.com.

  4. Ask us to create a custom Adobe PDF Preset for your project. Just email us at support@pagination.com.
Please note:
The Adobe PDF Presets are useful if you have to use them often; otherwise, it is easier to modify the single InDesign file as needed.
